College Aminuddin Baki Champion For SUKEM 2014

Bangi, 8 December 2014 – The Aminuddin Baki residential college (KAB) has emerged as champion in The National University of Malaysia Sports Championship (SUKEM) 2014 which ended here earlier this month.
KAB won seven gold medals, three silvers and 14 bronze medals. It also received a cash prize of RM2,000.
Za’ba College (KPZ) which took home six golds, four silvers and seven bronze medals came in second getting a cash prize of RM1,500 while Tun Syed Nasir College (TSN) was placed third after collecting five gold medals, four silvers and seven bronze medals. It received a cash prize of RM1,000.
TSN also emerged as winner of the SUKEM 2014 parade competition receiving a cash prize of RM1,000 with KAB second getting a cash prize of RM 600 and Tun Dr Ismail College (TDI) finishing third receiving a cash prize of RM400.
The prizes were given away by Vice-Chancellor, Prof Datuk Dr Noor Azlan Ghazali and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student and Alumni Affairs) Prof Datin Noor Aziah Mohd Awal. Director of the Sports Centre, Dr Tajul Arifin and principals of the residential colleges attended the prize giving ceremony.
