SUKSIS UKM Equipped With Self-Defence Weapons

BANGI, 29 MAY 2014 – Some 40 members of The National University of Malaysia’s Police Volunteer Force (SUKSIS UKM) have earned the right to carry T-baton defensive weapon after completing 40 hours of rigorous training at the Ampang Jaya District Police headquarters.
The T-Baton team demonstrated their skills using the device for self-defense in drills featuring mock snatch thefts at Pusanika Square before the Vice Chancellor Prof Professor Datuk Dr Noor Azlan Ghazali last week.
Prof Noor Azlan who is also SUKSIS UKM Commandant expressed his pride that team had successfully completed their training thus enabling them to use the T-Baton to safeguard the campus community of over 31,000 students and staff.
He expressed the hope that the team would use their skills for the benefit of all.
