The advancement of biotechnology and the application of a systems biology approach provide effective tools of unlimited potential for discovery of potential resources and development of biological products that can be industrially exploited for the creation of national wealth and the promotion of social wellbeing: the missions to be addressed by the niche dedicated for Biodiversity for Biotechnology Development.
