All teenagers between the aged of 13 to 19 years old  in the B40 category are eligible to participate in PERMATA Remaja Programme.

Yes. PERMATA Remaja Programme is given for FREE because it is a government program under the Part of PERMATA, Ministry of Education Malaysia and managed by the Centre for Youth Empowerment (PERKASA), National University of Malaysia.

PERMATA Remaja Programme offers skill classes that are likely the interests of teenagers nowadays such as cake & pastry, vocal & music, photography, beauty and button badges classes. In addition, PERMATA Remaja Programme also offers English and Korean language classes, Quran & Fardhu Ain classes, tuition classes and reading classes.

All PERMATA Remaja activities take place at four (4) PERMATA Remaja Community Centres situated in PPR Seri Pantai, PPR Pantai Ria, Perumahan Awam Desa Rejang and PPR Kg. Muhibbah, Kuala Lumpur.

Currently, PERMATA Remaja Programme only available at four (4) Community Centres in the Kuala Lumpur area. Nevertheless, if you meet the criteria mentioned in FAQ No.1, you can still participate in the online Korean Language class and PERMATA Remaja tuition classes.

Yes, participants can enroll in multiple classes as long as there are no schedule conflicts. However, we encourage completing one class at a time to minimize distractions and ensure a seamless learning experience.

PERMATA Remaja takes place every weekend on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM until 5 PM.

There are many benefits to be gained, such as opportunities to receive post-SPM education assistance from Yayasan PERMATA Malaysia, guidance from registered counselors for further education, co-curricular merit for competitions participated in through PERMATA Remaja, exposure to various fields and industries outside of Kuala Lumpur, career opportunities, and more.
