'Internationalization of the Future'
May 24th, 2022 (Tuesday) | 8.45 am - 12.00 pm (GMT+8 Kuala Lumpur)
The COVID-19 global pandemic has brought forth a lot of new and never-seen-before-challenges that forces the whole world to be reactive to the situation. As one of the more impacted sectors, the international higher education needs to develop new strategies and approaches to ensure the sustainability of internationalization as a key component of learning experiences.
We are now heading towards the future of education and thus must develop new ways of exploring internationalization. There has been an increase towards technological dependency, activities now take place beyond the physical barriers and one needs to be more creative in building relationships and enhancing intercultural competence. The workshop today creates a platform for participants to learn from our experts about the new ways and approaches in strategizing internationalization of the future. It incorporates planning for a new era of internationalization, incorporating virtual learning experiences and explores the Japanese Universities experiences in dealing with the changes.
OBJECTIVE
At the end of the webinar, participants will:
⇢ Understand the future expectations, and the sustainability aspect of internationalization in the university.
⇢ Learn the new practices and strategies from local and international higher educations.
