Women Leadership Program: Building Future Leaders Webinar

Tun Fatimah Hashim Women’s Leadership Center, UKM in collaboration with the National Council of Women’s Organizations (NCWO) Malaysia and the Women’s Development Department (JPW) organized a Webinar on Women Leadership Program: Building Future Leaders online. The webinar was attended by more than 300 participants consisting of young leaders including students as well as experienced women leaders including Prof. Emerita Tan Sri Dato ‘Seri Dr. Sharifah Hapsah Syed Hasan Shahabudin, President of NCWO; Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Dr. Noorul Ainur Mohd Nur, Chairman of the Board of Governors of the University College of Pahang Foundation and Tan Sri Sharizat Abdul Jalil, Former Minister of Women, Family and Community Development. The webinar session was also broadcast live via the official Facebook of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and Tun Fatimah Hashim Women’s Leadership Center.
The webinar session began with an opening speech from the Director of Tun Fatimah Hashim Women’s Leadership Centre, Prof. Dr. Dayang Anita Abdul Aziz. The topics of discussion that have been covered by the great speakers in their respective fields are Women and Their Rights, Leadership Challenges, Handling Diversity, Engagement and Networking, Mental Well-Being and Leadership Experiences Sharing Session. The Webinar session ended with a closing speech from NCWO President, Prof. Emerita Tan Sri Dato ‘Seri Dr. Sharifah Hapsah Syed Hasan Shahabudin. This program is very important to ensure continuous efforts in producing more potential and talented young leaders that can further the legacy of our excellence women leaders.
