Mobility Students: A Stint at PPL

On the 21st-25th August 2013, PPL once again hosted a group of students under the Sustainability of Tropical Heritage of the UKM – Global Mobility Partnership Program. This group consists of 12 students from four different countries, i.e. Malaysia, Japan, Hong Kong and Korea.

During their five days and four nights stay at PPL, they have experienced a guided walk at Lagenda Park, a visit to the Geopark School; Frangipani Hotel (the greenest hotel in Langkawi); Heritage & Wedding Custom Museum and the Craft Complex. They also underwent exciting fieldtrips on Gunung Machinchang and got muddy while working in the Kilim Mangrove.

The students enjoyed their time in Langkawi, an ancient land mass with amazing ecology, unique flora and fauna and definitely looking forward to bring their families to experience the true nature and culture of Malaysia.
