Individual and Group Counseliing Laboratory

PsiTra Psychology and Consultation Clinic (PKPK) is one of the special features available at PsiTra because it provides psychological and counselling services to the UKM community (students/staff) and the local community. Currently, there are seven rooms actively used to conduct psychological and counselling services, which include 5 individual counselling rooms, 2 group counselling rooms. PKPK offers psychological and counselling services covering various individual issues such as:

  • Anxiety problems
  • Interpersonal relationship problems
  • Self-confidence issues
  • Lack of motivation
  • Career issues
  • Family problems
  • Learning difficulties
  • Anger issues
  • Stress/pressure problems
  • Depression
  • Communication issues
  • and others

Currently, psychological and counselling services are provided by lecturers at PsiTra, who are experts in various fields of psychology such as Counselling, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Developmental Psychology, and Social Work.

For instance, counselling services are provided by lecturers in the field of counseling, each of whom holds a certificate of practice in accordance with the requirements of the Counselors Act 1998.
