Actuary is a professional who uses mathematical and statistical methods to assess risks in insurance, finance, and other industries and professions. UKM’s Actuarial Science program was first offered in 1988, being the first program in Malaysia to offer a Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science. This program offers several basic courses for students to sit for specialised exams recognised by overseas specialised bodies.
