About

Getting a PhD is a rewarding experience for any postgraduate student. The attrition rate in PhD program, however, is relatively high. Some students fail in their courseworks. Others did not complete their thesis on time. This presentation focuses on some of the reasons for failing a PhD. The presentation will highlight some of the “traps” and pitfalls that had prevented and can prevent students from fetching the desired results and completing their thesis. Postgraduate students need to know how to avoid the traps and pitfalls of PhD thesis writing. Students need to understand the implications of these traps fully in their own situation and determine not to succumb to them.  The presentation hopes to offer insights to the postgraduates on what actions from their side to avoid PhD thesis failure.
