How to Write A Scientific Manuscript for a Refereed Journal
A scientific paper is a report on original research results. The main purpose of this workshop is to help researchers to prepare manuscripts that will be accepted for publication in a refereed journal.

Biodata of the Speaker
Professor Dato’ Dr Roslan Abd Shukor is a lecturer at the School of Applied Physics, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and is currently the Chairman of UKM Press.  His research interest is on high temperature superconductivity.  He received the National Young Scientist Award in 1999 and the Malaysia Toray Science and Technology Award in 2006.  He is a Fellow of the Institute of Physics, United Kingdom and Academy of Sciences, Malaysia.  Prof Roslan is a board member of several journals including Advisory Board, Superconductor Science and Technology (2004-2008), Editor-in-Chief, Sains Malaysiana (2006 – 2013), Editor, ISESCO J. of Sci. and Technol. (2007- present) and Editor, International Journal of Superconductivity (2013 – present).  He recently wrote a book on writing entitled “Rahsia Kejayaan Menulis – Jurnal Berimpak Tinggi, Buku dan Tesis”.
