Speakers Biography:

Dr. SEE Diu Seng, Solution Consultant, Thomson Reuters

As a Solution Consultant specializing in Scientific & Scholarly Research at Thomson Reuters, Dr. SEE Diu Seng represents Thomson Reuters as speaker at key conferences around Southeast Asia to share best practices in scientific discovery and research evaluation.

Diu Seng has been a scientific researcher for over 5 years, during which he has co-authored 15 papers in international peer-reviewed journals and have presented his work in scientific conferences in the US and Spain. Prior to joining Thom-son Reuters, Diu Seng was a postdoctoral researcher in the National University of Singapore (NUS) from 2013 to 2015. During that time, he served as a Business Lead at LuminiCell Pte Ltd where he raised $S 250K for the development of a unique fluorescent technology. Diu Seng has also been teaching in his free time for more than 10 years.

Diu Seng holds a doctoral degree from the NUS School for Integrative Sciences and Engineering, Singapore, and a B.ASc. (Honours) in Chemistry from NUS.

Ms. Shannen DAN, Business Development, Thomson Reuters

Ms. Shannen DAN obtained her first degree (BSc. Honors) in Computer Science from the University of Queensland 1994, and a Master in Information System (MInfoSys) from the University of Queensland, Australia in 2000. She has more than 20 years of experience working in Australia and South East Asia region, in areas related to large information system project design and implementation. At Thomson Reuters, she heads the business development effort for South East Asia, Hong Kong and Macau.
