Call for Papers World Renewable Energy Congress (WREC) 2023 (WREC2023) – First Announcement

It is our great pleasure to announce the World Renewable Energy Congress (WREC) 2023 (WREC2023) organized by Solar energy Research Institute (SERI), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) supported by Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) and World Renewable Energy Network (WREN).
This world biennial conference serves as a major recognized forum for networking between researchers, policy makers, manufacturers, entrepreneurs, economists, financiers, sociologists, environmentalists, journalists and industry experts, all working together towards the international diffusion of renewable energy technologies and applications.
WREC2023 enables these sectors to exchange and share their views, knowledge, information, new ideas and experience in person and to participate in discussions, both formal and informal, thus facilitating the transfer of knowledge between nations, institutions, disciplines and individuals. This gathering will help delegates to establish research or business relations as well as to find international linkages for future collaborations in their career path.
WREC2023 has secured a strong support by MyCEB to catalyst the reopening of Malaysia’s border to international travellers starting from 1 April 2022. MyCEB with the full support from the Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) and Ministry of Finance has announced the 3R initiative (Reset, Restart and Responsible) as a recovery programme for the industry. MyCEB also launched the MySafe Business Events Planner, a joint effort with Business Events Council Malaysia (BECM) by incorporating real time information for event organizers and international delegates which will help them to a pleasant and safe journey to Malaysia.
