Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) through the Solar Energy Research Institute (SERI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center in an effort to move towards a more sustainable and resilient future.
UKM was represented by the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research and Innovation Affairs), Prof. Dato’ Dr. Wan Kamal Mujani. Meanwhile, Kuala Lumpur Convention Center was represented by its General Manager, John Burke.
This collaboration involves the expertise of SERI led by Prof. Associate Dr. Norasikin Ahmad Ludin to assess the sustainability of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center using scientific methods with reference to globally recognized standards. The data will be used to create a comprehensive report on the center’s sustainability performance.
Also present was the Director of SERI, Prof. Associate Dr. Mohd Adib Ibrahim and Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre’s Deputy General Manager, Robert Hatton-Jones.
