Solar Energy Research Institute

Advanced Energy Materials Laboratory was established in 2015. Since then, ChM Dr. Mohd Sukor Su’ait has been appointed as laboratory coordinator. Most of the facilities are provided for material synthesis, deposition, fabrication, characterization, and testing for rechargeable batteries and solar cell. This laboratory highlights the fabrication and testing on advanced energy materials for rechargeable batteries such as Li-ion, Na-ion, Al-ion, Metal-Air, Li-Sulphur, supercapacitor and supercapattery as well as facilities for organic PV, thin film, and perovskite solar cells applications.
