The Celik Solar program is an initiative by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suhaila Sepeai from the Solar Energy Research Institute (SERI) to translate the field of solar energy to the community. Dr. Suhaila developed the Celik Solar program which targets students aged 9-12 to gain knowledge about solar energy.

 Celik Solar participants are exposed to renewable energy, the benefits of the sun, solar energy technology, solar car manufacturing, solar power systems at home, ways to save electricity and career opportunities in the field of solar energy. This program can be expanded to other community centers in Malaysia.
