The 6th International Conference & The 2nd Asean-Japan International Conference on Innovative Biology Medicine and Engineering.
4 November 2022– Faculty of Medicine, UKM has hosted a conference known as The 6th International Conference & The 2nd Asean-Japan International Conference on Innovative Biology Medicine and Engineering. This conference was attended by 20 participants from the Medical•Environmental•Regenerative Research Organization (MERRO) Group, Japan and the Faculty of Medicine, UKM.
This conference was officiated by Prof Dato’ Dr Hanafiah Harunarashid, Pro Vice Chancellor (Kuala Lumpur Campus). The opening ceremony of the conference was also attended by Mr Katsuhiko Takahashi, the Ambassador of Japan to Malaysia who stated in his speech, expressed his gratitude to the Faculty of Medicine, UKM for being a good host for the conference which was held to provide space for a two-way discussion to progress in the field of medicine .
This conference was held successfully through 10 presentations from the Delegation of Merro Group, Japan and the Faculty of Medicine, UKM. Various presentation topics were delivered successfully by the presenters from both sides. The ceremony ended with a closing speech from the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Abdul Halim Abdul Ghafor and Delegation from MERRO GROUP, Japan including the President of MERRO GROUP, Ms. Atsuko Matsuoka and Director of MERRO GROUP, Prof. Yatsuhiko Tabata.
