RESEARCH
Our faculty members are actively engaged in numerous research activities in the fields of history, politics and international relations. They have published their research in a wide variety of national and international refereed journals, and produced books published by well-known academic publishers. Some of these publications have won prestigious awards, including the ICAS International Book Prize, the Anugerah Akademi Negara (National Academic Award), and the Michael Leifer Memorial Prize. We have our very own peer-reviewed journal, Malaysian Journal of History, Politics, and Strategy (formerly known as JEBAT), since its inception in 1971 continues to be the market place of ideas for international researchers writing on Southeast Asian history and politics.
