In line with the announcement of the Minister of Higher Education (July 8, 2020), a discussion between the Secretariat with the Assistant Dean (Citra & Learning) and Assistant Dean (Students Affairs) and the Medical Education Department (Jabatan Pendidikan Perubatan) on July 9, 2020 was held to discuss the implementation of all undergraduate medical students UKM. All students are currently on semester leave / study leave and all semester exams will be held online. The 2020-2021 academic session will start on September 7, 2020 and students of all undergraduate programmes will return to campus on Saturday and Sunday, September 5 & 6, 2020, except for Year 3 , Medical Doctor Program students who will return to campus on September 12-13 2020. All lectures shall be conducted online whilst laboratory practicals, PBL, Meet-the-Expert sessions clinical bedside teaching and others shall be conducted face-to-face subject to physical distancing requirements as stipulated by SOP.
