Till now, I still feel it is a privilege to be accepted by UKM Medical Faculty six years ago. UKM Medical Faculty is the place I started and accomplished my teenage ambition. As students here, we have the opportunity to experience the most comprehensive clinical learning at UKMMC, a comfortable place equipped with sophisticated facilities, vast variety of cases and eminent teaching staffs from various specialties. We were also given the opportunity to get involved in research with lecturers in the field of interest, which could be the spark to produce great researchers in the future. The carefully-structured medical curriculum provides firm and extensive foundation to us, and exams are conducted strictly at the highest standard to ensure we pass as a competent and safe medical practitioner. With the recent completion of UKM Specialist Children's Hospital, I can see the huge potential of UKMMC to transform itself into the most leading healthcare hub in Malaysia. I am confident that UKM Medical Faculty will continue to be the best place that produces good quality medical graduates. UKM Medical Faculty will always be my proud alma mater.

Being able to continue study in UKM was my dream since I started working as Assistant Medical Officer in 2012. Bachelor of Science in Emergency Medicine with Honours was one of the special degree programs that was develop with collaboration between UKM and Medicial Assistant Board as a special program for Assistant Medical Officer. I have gained many great experience studying here. The curriculum was comprehensive not only focus on thoretical learning but also involve clinical experience to give better understanding towards the learning process. Besides that, its not only focus in academic but also encourage me to enhance my leadership and communication skills through student program in faculty. This has give an added value for me to develop and improve my interpersonal skills. The Faculty of Medicine UKM has contributed significantly valuable value for my career pathway.

It was my immense luck and fortune to be a part of UKM, where I can grow. The entire faculty and department leave no stone unturned to shape one’s future. My three years at UKM have been a wonderful experience of learning with prolific exposure to the outside world. However, here at UKM, it is more than just learning and remembering the theory. I learned time management while enjoying the learning environment and experiences at UKM. UKM is a great avenue to develop your academic and personal skills. Furthermore, their blended learning initiatives make studies more relevant in today’s modern world. I enhanced my leadership skills, which have added value to my degree and given me a chance to grow into a better person

It is a lifelong goal of mine to acquire a nursing degree from a publicly funded university. For my nursing profession, I believe that UKM Nursing is the greatest possible decision. Throughout the course, I was trained by professors and clinical instructors who were not only experts in their fields but also genuinely cared about my future career as a nurse practitioner. The UKM nursing faculty never quit functioning to provide the best care possible for us, even when the Covid 19 pandemic hit. I don't think I would have blossomed as much without the caring atmosphere that UKM gave for learning. The three years I spent at UKM were incredibly motivating and, without a doubt, formative experiences for me. Here at UKM, though, it's about more than just memorising facts and figures. At UKM, I was able to improve my time management skills while also having a great time in a stimulating academic setting. Attending UKM is a fantastic way to advance your intellectual and personal growth. Additionally, their blended learning initiatives increase the contemporary relevance of education. My degree is now more valuable thanks to the opportunity to learn and develop new abilities, including leadership, which I pursued and obtained. I hope that any future nurses enjoy the same kind of supportive learning environment that I did at UKM's Faculty of Medicine, because my time there was so transformative and enriching. I think that all the students who are considering nursing as a profession will find it to be a rewarding one, both economically and in terms of the satisfaction they will experience from the care they provide to their patients or the knowledge they pass on to their colleagues. Therefore, let's make it a priority to continue our nursing education throughout our careers.

I count it a joy to have graduated from the Faculty of Medicine UKM, an esteemed tertiary institution of learning where I can immerse myself into the culture of academic and research world. Not only is it a centre for learners of knowledge but this is definitely a place for innovators of knowledge. The Faculty of Medicine has produced a society imbued with dynamic, learned and civic leadership. Being involved in research publications and assigned clinical attachments, I am now enriched with a wider perspective on the world of medicine. The medical curriculum is designed with the aim to produce holistic doctors who not only treat the diseases but also patients as a whole. Lastly, I must testify that the members of this faculty – from the learned lecturers to the supporting staff are dedicated personnel who never failed to carry out their roles with passion and care. Would-be medical practitioners are blessed with the state-of-the art medical facilities; and the real-time clinical hours clocked in our teaching hospital, HUKM offers invaluable experience when medical graduates moved onto the real world of healthcare. It is my fervent desire to be given a chance to serve as clinical lecturer and researcher at the Faculty of Medicine in the near future.
