Assoc Prof Dr Hamat Hamdi Che Hassan is originally from Kelantan. He graduated from University College Dublin (UCD), Ireland in 2001. He then pursues his career in Ireland to obtain MRCPI in 2006. He first entered noninvasive cardiology training in heart failure at St Michael Hospital and St Vincent Hospital, UCD, in Heart Failure. After that he come back to Malaysia in 2009 to join UKM and continue his invasive cardiology training at HUKM and IJN. He completed his training in 2016.
He has big interest in intervention Cardiology and has since been practicing in interventional coronary artery disease including primary PCI, Complex PCI and also Pace Maker insertion. He also involved in many clinical trials as PI and Co-I. He also has published numerous papers at national and international levels.
He also interested in undergraduate and post graduate teaching and has guided many students to become doctor and also medical specialists.
