Associate Prof. Dr. Adli Ali
Dr. Adli Ali is a Consultant Paediatric Immunologist and presently the Head of Immunology and Rheumatology Services at UKM Children’s Specialist Hospital / Hospital Pakar Kanak-Kanak UKM (HPKK UKM) and currently the Director of UKM-HPKK Research Center & Lead Research Coordinator. Dr. Adli is also a Senior Clinical Lecturer at Faculty of Medicine, UKM and a visiting Consultant Paediatric Immunologist at Hospital Tunku Azizah, Kuala Lumpur.
Dr. Adli received his Master of Integrated Immunology and Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) in Paediatrics Developmental Immunology from University of Oxford and completed his Clinical Fellowship in Functional Allergy and Genomic in National University of Singapore, and Clinical Immunology in LMU, Munich Germany and Erasmus MC, Rotterdam Netherland.
Dr. Adli sits as a Medical Advisory Board, International Patient Organization for Primary Immunodeficiencies (IPOPI), Founding Member of South East Asia Primary Immunodeficiency Network (SEAPID), members of Malaysia Translational Immunology Group for Education, Research and Society (TIGERS) and the Immunology Lead for National Rare Disease Committee.
To date, Dr. Adli is the recipient of 22 various scholarships; academic, educator and professional awards and has been invited to speak at various international conferences and Key-Opinion-Leader in the field of translational immunology for several industries. He has also contributed to many scientific publications including 45 indexed journal publications and 50 scientific presentations.
