This programme aims to develop highly flexible graduates specialized in the English language field. Students of this programme will explore a varied range of facets related to the English language including but not limited to linguistics, education and training, English literature and performing arts as well as corporate and professional applications of English. The courses offered in the programme touches on all the different avenues of English.
Exhibit skills and knowledge (linguistics and language) and critical thinking in discussing various types of written genres and literary texts.
Have the skills to manage information effectively through their ability to read and interpret texts.
Be able to communicate using their knowledge of the English sound system and have the skill to write reports, memos, business letters and literary reviews in the English language.
Exhibit entrepreneural and management skills.
Exhibit scientific and thinking skills in information processing and problem solving.
