Students enrolled in the Mathematics programme, are exposed to thorough knowledge on theoretical as well as the applications. The students will be exposed to a variety of problem solving techniques, both analytically and numerically. Students are also provided with the knowledge in defining problems, understanding the stated problems, and this will shape the students’ creativity in handling the techniques of solving and proving.
To produce graduates with national aspirations who are able to dominate and employ the mathematical sciences knowledge in the underlying development of the nation state with high values, ethics and professionalism.
To produce graduates who are competent and able to master the latest mathematical sciences knowledge with practical and soft skills to solve national and global issues.
To produce mathematical sciences graduates who are competitive, innovative, with entrepreneurship and leadership characteristics, and good communication skills in contributing ideas to stakeholders and society.
