Introduction

The Postgraduate Diploma in Judicial Practice & Sharia Law aims to produce graduates knowledgeable in judicial practice, Sharia law, and advocacy skills in Sharia Courts. This program is established to fulfill the knowledge and skill requirements in the field of judicial practice and Sharia law for application in the Sharia legal profession. Students are expected to apply Sharia law and legal knowledge acquired during their undergraduate studies to analyze issues and methods of Sharia legal practice, particularly in Malaysia. The program enhances students’ awareness to uphold Sharia law and principles of justice through judicial practice and Sharia legal systems as recommended by the Islamic faith.

Bachelor’s Degree in Sharia and Law with honors, achieving a Good Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) from the University or any higher education institution recognized by the Senate, with at least a CGPA of 2.50 – 3.00

meeting other requirements as determined by the Faculty

Obtaining at least MUET Band 2.
