Introduction
Master of Engineering (Environmental) is offered by Department of Chemical and Process Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment, UKM. This programme provides an integrated background in environmental science which covers ecosystem and environmental impacts and management, liquidand solid waste management and treatment, waste water engineering and air pollution equipment design.

- This programme is a multidiscipline programme that integrate three engineering programmes i.e. chemical engineering, civil engineering and mechanical engineering.
Entry Requirement

- A Bachelor of Engineering degree with honours (CGPA 2.75 and above) from The National University of Malaysia or its equivalent from any other recognized university; or
- A Bachelor of Science degree with honours (minimum CGPA 3.50) from The National University of
Malaysia or its equivalent from any other recognized university; or
- A bachelor science degree with honours (CGPA 3.49 and below) from The National University of Malaysia or its equivalent from any other recognized university with at least 3 years working experience in engineering or related fields after obtaining the degree for Malaysian applicants
a) CGPA 2.50 – 2.74 with at least 1 year working experience in engineering field after obtaining the degree for Malaysian applicants
b) CGPA 2.0 – 2.49 with at least 3 years working experience in engineering field after obtaining the degree for Malaysian applicants; or
Requirement for English Language
For international candidates, requirements for English Language is minimum 550 (TOEFL) or 5.5 (IELTS).
