Introduction
The Master of Engineering (Mechanical) programme is offered by the Department ofMechanical and Materials Engineering as a coursework programme. The programme covers core courses of the mechanical engineering programme namely thermosfluids, applied mechanics, advanced materials and processes. In these courses, students are exposed to current trends and issues in the field of study. Students are also taught research management and aspects of entrepreneurship.

Entry Requirement

- A Bachelor of Engineering degree with honours (CGPA 2.75 and above) from The National University of Malaysia or its equivalent from any other recognized university; or
a) CGPA 2.50 – 2.74 with at least 1 year working experience in engineering field after obtaining the degree for Malaysian applicants
b) CGPA 2.0 – 2.49 with at least 3 years working experience in engineering field after obtaining the degree for Malaysian applicants
Requirement for English Language
For international candidates:
i) minimum 550 (TOEFL) or 5.5 (IELTS).
