This course covers an introduction to national and regional systems for nuclear safety, physical protection of nuclear materials and facilities, detection and response, principles of nuclear safeguards, nuclear material accountancy, integrated safeguards, containment and surveillance, satellite monitoring, and international law.

A Bachelor’s degree at least a CGPA of 2.75 or its equivalent as accepted by the UKM Senate. OR;
Bachelor of Science Degree or other qualification equivalent, with a CGPA of 2.50 – 2.74, subject to a minimum of one year of working experience in a related field. OR;
Other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian government as equivalent to the above requirements. AND;
5.5 for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or Band 3 for the Malaysian University English Test (MUET)
