The purpose of the course is to provide an exposure and knowledge enhancement regarding medicolegal aspects of healthcare practices. The course contents which includes introduction to medicolegal, issues and risk in medicolegal as well as approach in handling complaints are suitable for medical and healthcare providers, as well as other healthcare professionals and administrators working directly or indirectly in the disciplines involving quality of healthcare, patient safety and clinical risk management. The course will be delivered via lectures, case discussions, and observation session.

The classes will be held online, but there will be one moot court session conducted physically at the Faculty of Law, UKM.

Admission Requirements:
This program is open to Malaysian citizens and non-citizens. Detailed admission requirements are as follows:

    • Possess at least academic qualification at the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level AND have a minimum of 5 years of working experience in a related field.
    • OR
      Possess an academic qualification at the Diploma level with a minimum of 3 years of working experience in a related field, or a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
