Congratulations to our competition winners, Serious About Science team for winning at the APEC-YES Challenge 2018, Bangkok, Thailand.

Our students from CESPRO & Kursi UKM-YSD, Ms Safa Senan Mahmod & Ms Shalini Narayanan received USD2000 cash prize for winning at First place at Asian Pacific Economic Corporation (APEC)-YES Challenge 2018. The organizer also awarded to each member a certification and a medal.

Ms Shalini also awarded as  The Best Tomorow Leader and received USD800 cash prize!

The Serious About Science team has presented a proposal about “Waste Cooking Oil Production of Biodiesel and Hydrogen” to promote the revitalization of waste cooking oil as valuable resources. This project was designed to fulfill the theme of APEC YES-Challenge – Smart Power Management for Self-Sustained Green Community by tackling climate change, community problems and also promoting sustainability awareness.
