State Registered Nurse

Job Description: -

  • As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for executing all aspects of care to patients as defined in the SOP for each unit and accountable for the patients' outcomes under your care.
  • You will need to maintain and update patient records and provide administrative assistance.
  • You will need to accomplish any other tasks given from time to time.

Job requirements: -

  • Possess a Diploma / Degree in Nursing only
  • Minimum 2 year's of working experience in nursing field
  • Post Basic will be an added advantage
  • Must have valid Annual Practising Certificate / Retention of Name
  • Required to work shifts

Optometrist

Job Description:

  • To perform comprehensive optometry services as per standard operating procedures and policies such as examine patients’ eyes to detect signs of ocular diseases and vision abnormalities.
  • To apply understanding of general principles of optometry and best practices for the diagnosis and treatment of eye-related disorders and conditions.
  • To provide clinical advices on visual problems and prescribe visual aids.
  • To have clinical skills in refracting paediatrics, to assess binocular vision disorders and provide relevant vision therapy.
  • To have skills in fitting contact lenses, semi-hard lenses, and preferably exposed to orthokeratology practice.
  • To document patient history including patient’s complaint and relevant symptoms, ocular health, medication usage, medical and family history, current vision aid if applicable, and any other pertinent data.
  • To document clearly and precisely patient’s diagnosis and treatment plan, including referrals and management in patients’ medical records.
  • To deliver critical and emergency management according to the hospital’s protocol and policies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate to patients of diverse background.
  • To demonstrate problem solving skills and multitasking ability.

Medical Assistants

Job description: -

  • Attend to patients by coordinating services & treatment as per patient registration
  • Ensure accurate patient’s information is disseminated to patient, doctor in charge or relevant parties.
  • Ensure standards of patient care are always met throughout the medical checkup process by adhering to all company’s policies & procedures, Nursing Standards and Code of Ethics.
  • Assisting doctors during minor surgery and giving treatment when necessary
  • Ensure safety precautions are taken & abiding to safety rules by handling medical instruments, equipment with proper techniques & professionalism.
  • Ensure safety precautions are follow when drawing blood from patient and handling specimen for lab testing according to procedures.


Job Requirements: -

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Medical Assistant

Nurse Aides

Job description: -

  • Maintain ward’s cleanliness and checking the work done by the outsourced facilities.
  • Assisting Nurses giving care to the patient e.g. bed making, sponging, positioning patient and others.
  • Clear up the store, procedure room, pantry and linen room, keeping it clean and tidy.
  • Sends specimens to the laboratory, taking blood from blood bank and also taking the emergency stock medication from pharmacy.
  • Accompanying patient for investigation and treatment e.g. to clinic, X-ray department, physiotherapy, and other departments.
  • Assisting Nurses transferring the patient into and out from the ward.
  • Assisting the Nurses to get the consumables from the Purchasing Department and Pharmacy Store.
  • Assisting Nurses performing last office procedure.
  • Attending to call bells when necessary.

Clinic Assistants

Job description: -

  • Greets patient in friendly and polite manner.
  • Ensures patient’s Medical Record and relevant document is available prior to commencement of clinic.
  • Assists consultants in procedures – invasive and non invasive and maintains privacy at all times.
  • Directs patient to respective diagnostic department for investigation and treatment (e.g. to clinic, X-ray department, treatment room, physiotherapy etc.)
  • Ensures follow-up appointments are issued, explained and keyed in HIS accordingly.
  • Facilitates patient on admission to ward.
  • Answers telephone calls and directs calls to consultant when necessary.
  • Maintains clinic and procedure room cleanliness and tidiness upon utilizing.
  • Ensures items used (e.g. consumables, procedures) are charged accordingly.
  • Ensures adequate supplies (e.g. consumables, equipment etc.) prior to commencement of clinic.

Pharmacy Assistants

Job description: -

  • To be able to prepare and dispense medications to patients according to the instructions of the doctor
  • To be able to contact the prescriber when in doubt regarding the prescribed medications.
  • To supply drugs to the wards and units according to the required par levels.
  • To assist for drug inventory management which includes but not limited to the receiving, supply and storage of Psychotropic and Dangerous Drugs.
  • To be able to prepare extemporaneous medications which are in accordance to special need of the patients.
  • To assist in performing quarterly stock checks within the department as well as in the wards.
  • To assist in all pharmacy department quality improvement activities including ward checks, drug expiry date monitoring, data collection for reports and etc.


Job Requirements: -

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Pharmacy recognized by the Malaysian Pharmacy Board.
  • Possess relevant knowledge and experience in handling Psychotropic and Dangerous Drugs.
  • Having experience in Chemotherapy Drug Reconstitution (CDR) setup an added advantage.
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Ability to communicate in multi-lingual will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 1 (One) year of working experience in the hospital setting. However, fresh graduates who are academically outstanding are encouraged to apply.
Billing Assistants

Job description: -

  • To participate in planning and coordinate the improvements in the operation and management of the Billing Office.
  • To ensure the “Credit Card Refund Forms” are completed and sent to Finance Department without delay for refund procedure.
  • To be available at the registration counter to handle customers’ needs & doctors inquiries and insurance/corporate billing procedure. 
  • Responsible for the coordination of the discharge procedures by liaising with the Patient Administration Services Assistant, doctors/consultant and nurses/nurse manager in relation to the insurance/guarantee letters so that the discharge can be done efficiently.
  • To deal appropriately with all patients/customers coming to the reception and arrange whatever help they may request during their stay and inform the management of any unscheduled visit by distinguished guest, visitor, customer or patient due for admission.
  • Must attend to patients who are not able to make payments upon discharge and to inform the department manager/division head for further action and follow-up.
  • To assist patients on enquires like KWSP claim, obtaining guarantee letter, bank draft, third party payment and etc.
  • To liaise with TPA/insurance companies to have the “Top-up” guarantee letter once the initial stated amount exceeds the current interim invoice.


Job Requirements: -

  • Candidate must possess at least a STPM.
  • Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience in a hospital especially at Billing Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
  • Excellent in both written and verbal (Bahasa/English)

Front Office Assistants

Job description: -
