Asahi Kosei (M) Sdn Bhd

 Asahi Kosei Co. Ltd. was established by the late chairman as a producer for sewing machine components in 1946 and was approved as JIS manufacturer in 1960.  Then, when sewing machine industry shifted from Japan to overseas market, Asahi Kosei decided to change over to die-cast manufacturing. 

            Among the die-casting industry, we were rather a late-starter. Therefore Asahi Kosei commenced to produce VTR parts which were newly developed in Japan by using precision machining technique which had been used for sewing machine components. Asahi Kosei also had been carrying out complete process of die-casting, processing and assembly for the main mechanical components of VTR.  Gradually, Asahi Kosei successfully attained 80% of the world wide VTR die-cast components market share. 

           Asahi Kosei (M) Sdn. Bhd. has been established with 100% share owned by Asahi Kosei Japan in 1996. Recently, AKM employs 1000 employees and supplies Automotive and Electrical Home Appliance products to Japan as well as worldwide. 

            In spite of the world economy restructuring, Asahi Kosei Group is making an effort to further innovate its technology and develop new business by applying our experty in high precision die-casting as well as machining to achieve overall customer satisfaction.
