1. What is the minimum fee I need to pay when completing self-registration in the e-Speed system? (applicable for new students only)

Students are required to pay at least 40% of the first semester’s fees.

2. Is the fee payment based on semesters or on assessment components?

Tuition fees are charged each semester, regardless of the number of components registered for that semester.

3. When do I need to pay my tuition fees?

Students are required to pay their fees at the beginning of each new semester according to the amount specified in the tuition fee structure.

4. Where can I check the current fee amount/outstanding balance?Students can check the current fee amount/outstanding balance in the e-Kewangan system: https://ekewangan.ukm.my/
5. If I have been in an additional semester/exceeded the semesters outlined in the tuition fee structure, will I be charged an additional fee?Yes. This is because the tuition fees are charged as a package and are based on the minimum study duration.
Therefore, students will be charged additional fees for the extended period and services provided.
6. If I fail a particular assessment component, will I be charged if I want to retake the assessment?Yes. A fee of RM1000 will be charged to students who retake the APEL.Q assessment component for one retake (a maximum of 3 retakes, with a fee applied for each retake).
7. For the first fee payment, can I immediately apply for a KWSP withdrawal for the purpose of financing my tuition fees?

No, you cannot. Students must first be in a ‘Registered’ status before making any KWSP claims.

To achieve the ‘Registered’ status, students must complete all registration requirements in the e-Speed system, including the minimum payment mentioned in item (1).

1. If I intend to register in the e-Speed system in the middle of the semester or outside the new student registration period, is this allowed?

Yes. APEL.Q candidates are allowed to register at any time.

However, students are advised to check if there are any implications regarding tuition fees and the assessment process by the faculty.

2. For the ‘Medical Report’ registration requirement, can I have a medical check-up at any clinic/hospital/health center?

Yes, you can. However, students must bring the Report of Health Examination which is available in the e-Speed system, when undergoing the medical check-up.

3. For the ‘MySiswa Debit Card-i’ requirement, is it mandatory to open an I-Pro RHB savings account (RHB Pro Savings Account-I)?Yes, students are required to open an RHB account in their own name after accepting the offer. Please note that opening this RHB Savings Account is mandatory to obtain an RHB MySiswa Debit Card and complete the self-registration process.

2. If I have not passed a particular assessment in the current semester, do I need to register for the same assessment component in the next semester?Yes. If a student has not passed a particular assessment component in the current semester, the student must register for the same assessment component in the following semester.
3. Am I allowed to register for all components at the same time?No. Students must register for the assessment components in sequence and are only allowed to register for the next component after passing the previous one.
