Kindly be informed that International Students who have received their offer letter from UKMShape are required to apply for a Visa Approval Letter (VAL), as early as 3 months or at least 1 month before the registration date . Below are the required forms and guidelines for International Student Visa Application, which contains all information such as UKMShape visa processing fees, payment information, document requirements, eVAL processing timeline and general information regarding entry into Malaysia. It is also important that applicants refer to the guidelines below before submitting their application:
For first time applications (currently outside of Malaysia / holding dependent or other passes), students who intend to change their courses but currently holding a one-off student pass, and applicants who had previously studied in Language Centres.
Procedures and guidelines:

*Please be informed that Etiqa Family Takaful Berhad (EFTB) are no longer issuing physical medical cards for policies purchased through EMGS. Students are required to download the Smile App from Google Play or App Store. For more information, please click on Etiqa Smile Apps.
Arrival in Malaysia
UKMShape will only accept your passport and post arrival medical report after you have completed your registration (same day). Therefore, you may arrange for your journey to Malaysia within 7 days before your registration date.
