Background
The Sustainability Challenge 2015 is initiated by UKM-YSD Chair for Sustainable Development: Zero Waste Technology with the objective of exploring and developing innovative ideas on sustainability of palm oil industry. This competition will provide an excellent opportunity of the participants to present their sustainability’s ideas to the industry practitioners.

The competition aims to:
- To explore and develop innovative ideas on sustainability of palm oil industry among university students.
- To provide a platform for initiatives on palm oil sustainability.
- To promote UKM-YSD Chair for Sustainable Development: Zero Waste Technology and CESPRO at national and regional level.

This competition provides an excellent opportunity of the participants to present their ideas on palm oil sustainability to the industry practitioners based on the areas of interest listed in here. Ten best entries will be shortlisted for the presentation and assessment in the final round.
Terms and Condition
- Undergraduate students from institutions of higher learning
- Entry submission must be submitted by individual or maximum of THREE (3) persons per group.
- The submitted idea shall be original and has not been previously submitted or published.
- Each group or participant can submit maximum 3 entries. (RM100/entry).
- The organizer and/or panel of judges reserve the rights to alter competition terms and conditions which deemed necessary, in the best interest of this competition.
The written essay must be submitted to Sustainability Challenge Secretariat Office before or by October 30, 2015. Submission after the date would be disqualified
Registration & Fee
Sustainability Challenge 2015 registration was closed on 23 September 2015.
Entry submission must be submitted by either individual or maximum of THREE (3) persons per group.
Each group or participant can submit maximum 3 entries. The fee is RM100.00*/entry.
* The registration fee is including 6% GST (Applicable from 1st April 2015)
