YSD Scholarship Programmes are now open for application!

Yayasan Sime Darby (YSD) is proud to announce that the YSD Excellence Scholarships and Bursary Programmes for 2019 is now open for applications beginning 1 March 2019.
Category: YSD Excellence Scholarship Programmes
These programmes are catered to students from families with a household gross income of less than RM10,000 a month, with excellent academic results, and outstanding leadership qualities. Successful candidates will receive a full scholarship covering tuition fees, living and book allowances. Successful candidates under these programmes will be required to serve Sime Darby Plantation Berhad, Sime Darby Property Berhad or Sime Darby Berhad upon completion of his/her studies.
Applications for the respective programmes must be submitted within the following period:

YSD Pre-University Scholarship Programme (China) – Leading to undergraduate studies at top universities in China
YSD Pre-University Scholarship Programme (United Kingdom) – Leading to undergraduate studies at top universities in United Kingdom
YSD Undergraduate Scholarship Programme (Local)
YSD Undergraduate Scholarship Programme (Indonesia)

STPM 2018 leavers, Matriculation leavers, Diploma leavers or 1st year Undergraduate students
STPM 2018 leavers or Diploma leavers
Application Period
From 1 March – 31 March 2019
Category: YSD Bursary Programmes
These programmes award students from families with a household gross income of less than RM4,000 a month and for those with disabilities (OKU) who have achieved satisfactory academic results. The sponsorship is for full-time diploma or undergraduate courses at recognised local higher learning institutions.
