UMBI-IBS Visit

Researchers from UMBI visited the Institut Biosains (IBS) of Universiti Putra Malaysia recently on 8^th August 2018. We were warmly received by the IBS Director, Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahman and his team.

Both teams presented information about their respective organizations and also research interests of team members. Several areas of research, including metabolomics, breast cancer, gut microbiome were highlighted as possible collaborative projects between the institutes.

The UMBI team was also taken for a tour of the IBS laboratories and also its animal housing facility.
