Bake Sale – Brain Wave
Cake pops? Teddy bear cookies? On 27th March 2017, UMBI held its very first bake sale with the theme “Brain Wave” at the UKM Cheras campus. The event, spearheaded by the Jawatankuasa Kebajikan & Rekreasi (JKKR) of UMBI, aims to increase public awareness about cancer screening and generate funding for cancer research. Cake pops, teddy bear cookies, pastries and nasi lemak were all sold out by lunch time. Dedication of baked goods to the special people in our lives brought smiles and joy to many. Cheers and kudos to JKKR!!
