UMBI-Eijkman Teleconference

As a follow up to UMBI’s visit to the Eijkman Institute for Molecular Biology in Jakarta last year, researchers from the two institutes held a research teleconference on 13^th July 2018 to discuss on projects which are in current collaboration and also to plan for future studies which could be carried out together.

Among projects which are being carried out in collaboration include molecular typing of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), while collaborative studies into beta thalassemia, diabetes and gut microbiome are being considered.
