Why ‘Your Language My Culture”?

To provide students with a body of local content (from local knowledge, culture, history, geography, etc.) to draw upon for oral and written communication in English (reading to speaking; reading to writing);

To develop a local reading perspective while recognising the western perspective embedded in the English language.
