The Yayasan Tun Ismail Ali Distinguished Chair (YTI-UKM) and the Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM) UKM are organizing the workshop in conjunction with the visit of Professor Dr. Naoyuki Yoshino, Dean of the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI) and Emeritus Professor at Keio University, Japan.

Objective of Workshop: To identify opportunities (i) to establish a research collaboration and networking with researchers at ADBI and Keio University, (ii) to participate in their research projects and also to gain access to their research funding, and (iii) to establish academic collaboration between UKM, the Institute and Keio University.

ADBI focus research areas include but not limited to:

  • Borderless Economy & Regional Integration
  • Sustainable Development and Trade
  • Trade Finance
  • Digital Economy and New Trade Tools
  • Poverty Reduction, Financial Inclusion, Regulation & Education
  • Housing Policy for Inclusive Growth
