Name of Project: Design, Simulation, Fabrication and Long Term Performance Testing of a Compact 5 kW Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell System
Project Brief Information:
The objective of the project is to develop 5 kW proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cell system. The project involves design, modeling, simulation and fabrication of PEM fuel cell system, air cooled stack, water cooled stack, compact pressure swing adsorber as fuel purifier and membrane reactor as fuel processor. At the end of the project, the stack, the water management system, the stack cooling system, the power control system, the compact fuel processor, the compact fuel purifier and other ancillary equipment will be integrated and tested under long term performance testing.
