1. National Policy on Climate Change:
2010:
The National Policy on Climate Change was approved by the Cabinet of Malaysia and launched by Y.A.B. Tan Sri Dato’ Hj. Muhyiddin bin. Hj. Mohd. Yassin, Deputy Prime Minister on 30 August 2010. The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and through the Green Technology and Climate Change Council chaired by the Prime Minister, is currently implementing and coordinating initiatives for the Policy.
MyCLIMATE had contributed directly to the process of drafting the Policy in a consultative approach. It will continue to support implementation of the Policy. On 27 September 2010, MyCLIMATE assisted the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment in organizing the ‘Consultation Workshop on Implementation of the National Policy on Climate Change’ and solicited stakeholders inputs on implementing the Policy through the Green Technology and Climate Change Council
