He has been a law lecturer in Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws (AIKOL), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) for more than 20 years.Currently he is holding the post of Deputy Dean (Postgraduate Studies and Research). Before appointed as Deputy Dean in 2010 he was the Head of Department, Public Law Department, AIKOL since 2006.
Education: Malay College Kuala Kangsar, LLB(Hons) (IIUM), Master in Comparative Laws (IIUM), PhD (Law) (Aberystwyth).
He is the Coordinator for CANGGIH (Constitution, Administration, Good, Governance, Integrity, and Human Rights) Research Unit of IIUM and a member of ADRU (Alternative Dispute Resolution) Research Unit, IIUM. Hehas been trusted to be Course Coordinators for numerous undergraduate and postgraduate subjects including Constitutional Law I ⅈ Introduction to Malaysian Civil Law; Legal Research and Method; Advanced Legal Method and Research; Techniques of Writing Judgments and Academic Legal Writing; Introduction to Constitutional Law I & II; and Introduction to Constitutional Law. He has the experience of teachings wide ranging law subjects including Constitutional Law, Malaysian Legal System, Legal Method and Research, Land Law, Contract Law, Commercial Law etc. He has co-supervised a few PhD students who have graduated and currently is the principal supervisor for three PhD candidates and co-supervisor for many PhD students. He also has the experience as examiners for PhD and master degrees’ theses. Below is the list of some if my academic activities for the year 2011.
