• Scoring and measurement of yield traits:- Two hundred and sixty-six BC₂F₂ families of the mapping population were evaluated for yield and yield related traits, resistance to bacterial leaf blight (BLB) and brown plant hopper (BPH).

• SSR analysis of mapping populations:- SSR genotyping of the BC₂F₂ mapping population is in progress.
